Protein bands appear curved, wavy, or not parallel to each other

  1. 1 Gel has not polymerized evenly or parallel
Solutions
  1. 1 Review gel preparation procedure to ensure even polymerization
  2. 2 Ensure casting apparatus is level during gel polymerization
