Prepare placenta and identify anatomy
Prepare the human term placenta and identify the fetal and maternal tissue regions for dissection.

Dissect decidua tissue
Dissect the maternal decidua (D) tissue from the placenta.

Dissect chorionic plate and villi
Dissect the chorionic plate (CP) and chorionic villi (CV) tissues from the placenta.

Mince and digest placental tissue
Mince the placental tissue into small pieces and perform enzymatic digestion.

Collect mononuclear cells and plate
Collect mononuclear cells from the digested tissue and plate them into culture flasks.
